Responsibilities:--

• 5 +years developing rich web applications.
• 3+ years experience in agile software development methodologies is heavily preferred.
• Reports to the Development Manager
• Works in a cross-functional team to develop a compelling, interactive, fast and easy to use Web 2.0 browser interface for a successful enterprise web applications used by Global 500 companies across industries and worldwide -Collaborates with other Developers, Architects, UX, Product Owners and Testers in a highly transparent Agile organization, with two week iterations, continuous integration and a drive for quality
• Takes ownership for vision and follow-through in developing Web 2.0 applications using Ext GWT (Google Web Toolkit), pure JavaScript, CSS and XHTML with the performance and usability of applications like Google Mail and Google Docs –
• Extends, Re-factors and Optimizes existing browser-based user interfaces developed with JavaScript widget libraries and a Java POJO based web tier.
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management and Supply Chain Management market space
• Knowledge of Teradata Database
• Bachelor Degree

 

Skills & Attributes:

 • Strong experience with Google Web Toolkit or the Ext-JS JavaScript framework

• Extensive experience with web UI technologies, including XHML, CSS, AJAX, and JSON

• Knowledge of web application optimization techniques to improve page load times and performance using web profiling tools

• Thorough understanding of the inner-workings of rich dynamic web applications •Experience with and excited about different types of testing and testing tools •Experience using agile vs. traditional approaches in releasing high-value products

• The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in front-end web application development with a passion for the latest technologies and experience in building “Best of Breed” dynamic web enterprise applications Basic.
